I am extremely guilty of having the view that during the Winter the thicker the foundation the better, as you can get more coverage for that pale and un-sunkissed skin. Therefore, I only felt that I could get this look with a liquid foundation, until I met this little beauty.

When I first tried this out, I thought no way could this actually give me full coverage, as at the end of the day, it's just a powder. I was very, very wrong. You can use your application brush (I use the Real Techniques Buffing Brush) to tap some product on to it and then buff it into your skin and you can build the coverage up as you go until you're happy with the look.
It then seems to turn to what looks like a liquid foundation on my skin, yet feels so light and as if I have nothing on AND it lasts up to 12 hours!
It comes in 21 colours but I would definitely recommend going to get your colour matched in store before you buy. This is definitely a revelation for me as I have usually used the bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Powder Foundation during the summer, however never felt it was enough during the colder, less sunny months.

As it is all made with natural products, it is also so much better for your skin than most liquid foundations as it doesn't clog your pores and lets your skin breathe throughout the day! I also want to add for anyone with combination-oily skin this is a godsend!
Okay, outburst over but if you're anything like me and are worried about straying away from the thicker, liquid foundations then don't hesitate with this little babe.
