KUALA LUMPAR...

Kualar Lumpar has to be one of the prettiest cities I've seen so far. It's definitely the most modern and reminds me a bit of Singapore after I visited there two years ago. I arrived around 11pm at night after the longest journey ever! It took me around 27 hours from Koh Tao in Thailand and I had to take a
night ferry, two mini vans and a coach! But hey, it was exciting and it all adds to the travelling experience! I also got to see a lot of rural Malaysia, that I wouldn't of if I had flown. As I arrived so late, all I wanted to do was eat and sleep! I checked into my hostel which was just round the corner from a few street food markets and it had a great view of the Patronas Towers from the out the front! I went and grabbed some food and had a nice conversation with a lady who ran the restaurant. All the people I met in Kualar Lumpar were so so lovely and were always willing to have a chat about the city and give their advice on what's the best things to do and see!

The first full day I went to see the Patronas towers and went shopping in the mall underneath it! This is where I managed to buy a new camera!! Horrah! The Patronas Towers were stunning and overwhelmingly tall. Afterwards, I went to the KL building and paid to go up to the sky deck and view Kualar Lumpar from 300 metres in the air! This is where I got stand in the glass box shown below, all I could see was the ground beneath me and the beautiful city around me! Some people were so scared though, it was funny watching some walkinto the box holding on the railing for dear life! Hahah!

The hostel I stayed in was really nice (Dorms KL) and would definitely recommend for anyone going there. The people who worked there were also very lovely! We spent the Saturday night drinking in the hostel and playing card games, so so much fun! My time in Malaysia was definitely short and sweet, but so worth it so I'm glad I didn't skip it out like I was going to. I mostly wanted to use my time in Kualar Lumpar to chill mainly and after leaving most of my friends that I had met in Asia, I wanted to use the time to sort myself out and prepare for my next adventure in Australia!!!

I will post a blog soon on my time in Melbourne and I have just spent the afternoon with a travel agent booking loads of exciting things for the next month! So I can't wait to share it all with you!!

All the best xxx
