I went to heaven in a world full of cheese!
I am a massive, massive fan of cheese! Especially the melted kind, so when I heard about St Moritz, the Swiss Cheese Fondue Restaurant near Oxford Circus, there was no doubt about it - I had to go!
I dragged my best friend Nicole with me and there we were, entering THE cutest traditional Swiss restaurant, with a full on, overwhelmingly scrumptious smell of cheese as soon as we stepped through the door.
We sat down and ordered the Gruyere cheese with mushrooms (recommended by my other friend) which came to £18 each, I think, and a cheeky glass of red wine!
It came out and we were supplied with an endless amount of bread to dip into the warm, stringey cheesiness. I can't begin to explain how nice this cheese was...hahaha
We got talking to the waitress who worked there (who was lovely!) and she told us that it was half a kilo of cheese that we had just consumed...HALF A KILO! Let alone the bread...
Still no regrets and it was the best hour of my life so I thought I had to share it with you all!
I definitely recommend this place to anyone with as much of a cheese passion as me. Next time I'm going to go all out and get the steak and other bits that you can dip in too! Can't wait!
