CHAMPERS AND CAKE...

So last week I treated my mum to a Champagne Afternoon Tea at Worplesdon Place in Worplesdon (Dah) and I wanted to share it with you! The afternoon Tea starts at 3pm till 5pm and so we reserved and arrived for our table at 3pm. It was such a nice day so it's a shame we couldn't sit outside but it seemed they had their own designated Tea room which was also lovely! 

We sat down and started to drink our tea when the assortment of sanwiches, cakes and pastries arrived. We had all sorts from chocolate tarts and macaroons to a cheese strudel! It was lovely. 

Once we had finished our tea we asked for the glass of bubbly and finished with a good natter and a scone each! 

It was such a nice way to spend a couple of hours and they don't give you a tiny glass of bubbly either which was greaaaaat! 

If you're thinking of taking anyone out for a cosy afternoon I would definitely recommend this pub, it had a really lively atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back there to try some of the pub grub!
