Helloooooo, hope you're all well!
I definitely think I have become more obsessed with lip liners than lipstick's right now. I just find that they last a lot longer and give your lips a lot more definition. So I wanted to update my blog with a few of my favourites at the moment.
A friend had recommended the colour 'Spice' from Mac aaaages ago as I was looking for a browny lipstick. I hadn't picked it up until a few weeks ago and I think it has actually now taken over from my obsession with the colour 'Soar'. It's a really nice subtle shade for the day or night, it defines your lips and gives them a bit of a 90's pop.
I used to wear bold an bright lipsticks all the time last year but I felt like that ship had sort of sailed and then I saw this colour named 'Fruit Cocktail' and thought sod it, i'll get it for summer. I think this shade really compliments people with brown eyes as the colours sort of clash, making your eyes stand out as a result.
Also, with brighter shades you can go easier on the eye makeup with a sleek winged eye liner, so it actually can look like a bit more of a dressed down, subtle day look. OR you can dress it up for a glam look in the evenings.

I usually wear this 'Chicory' colour as an actual liner with the lipstick 'Chilli', which I blogged about a while back, as the colours really compliment each other. This is a really warm shade and I would usually save it for the evenings or more for the winter months. I also think this could look really nice with more of a nudey subtle shade like 'Kinda Sexy' during the day and when used as an actual liner it gives your lips some more shape and definition.
