I wanted to create a look with a pop of red this year as I actually
really rarely wear any colour nowadays and felt this was the perfect
opportunity…I also thought it was a great opportunity to get my legs out. Hey,
we’re only a few weeks away from spring – why the hell not!?
I found this red little number in Topshop and fell in love
with the quality as well as the colour. The neckline actually really caught my
eye also as I’m always quite a fan of the higher un-seemed neckline as I just
think it can look a lot more flattering. I then wanted to go for something a
bit different to just the usual ripped jeans, so I had a look around and came
across this denim skirt. On its own, I was a bit apprehensive but when I tried
it on with the top, I really, really liked it. Even more so when I tucked it in
as I just felt like it made the whole look a bit more girly.
Pair it up with a pair of super high courts and you’re good
to go.
